وحدثني الشريف السمرقندي، أن أهل بخاري [2] يقصدونه بالبطيخ الأصفر المبقى عندهم في زمن الشتاء، فيعطيهم عطاء جزيلا.

Al-Sharīf al-Samarqandī told me that the people of Bukhārā [2] come to him with yellow melons that they keep preserved in winter, and he gives them lavish gifts.
