وكان الكفار في أثناء ذلك ينزلون من جبل هنالك منيع فيغيرون على نواحي بلدة الجلالي، وكان أصحابنا يركبون كل يوم مع أمير تلك الناحية ليعينوه على مدافعتهم.

Meanwhile the infidels would come down from an impregnable mountain there and raid the districts of the town of al-Jalālī, and our men rode out every day with the amīr of that district to help him repel them.
