اسماعر ما بندگان نعیب غراب فراق اسماع کنذ ، واگر پاذشاه را ارادت خلفی شایسته وعقی رشید است آن ممنی بصفای طویت وخلوص بدت وعرض داذن حاجت بدرگاه اکرم الا کرمین وارحم الراحمین میسر ومهیا شوذ ، وچون خلاصهآ مقصود وزبدهآ مطلوب آسایش ضعفا وآرامش رعایا وصلاح مردمان وفراغ بال وحسن حال ایشانست از کمال لطف الهی اجابت این دعا وافادت این بمنی بدیع وغریب ناشذ ، چنانک می فرمایذ قوله عر وجل : اذغوبی أستحب لکم (4/1) شاه چون این مقدمات بشنیذ صدقات وصلات بزهاد وعباد فرستاذ ونذور خیرات ونوافل طاعات بحای آورد ، وچون خسرو ستارگان 1 سیمر غوار در پس کوه قاف افق پهان شذ وبر وطای کحلی آسمان ستارگان درفشان شذند بموضعی متبرک وبقعهئی مبارک در آمذ ، ووظایف صلوات وشرایط طاعات اقامت کرد ، وبزبان تضرع وبیان تخسع قصهآ نیازمندی شرح داذ ورقعهٔ‌ حاجت بسرادق جلال عرضه داشت وگفت : ای کریمی کی متحیران بادیهآ حیرت وسرگشتگان تبه ضلالت از حرم کرم بو عنایت ورعایت طلب می کنند، مکنون ضمایر ومضمون سرایر برو پوشیذه ببست، از کرم تو سزذ کی حاجت من باحابت مقرون گردانی ! چون صبح صادق از مطلع آفاق شارق گشت اعلام خورشیذ بذا آمذ ورایات تیر وناهیذ ناسذا شذ شاه با مخدره خلوتی کرد ومضای تقدیر با صفای تدبر موافق افتاذ،

the ears of us servants hear the croaking of the raven of separation! And if the king desires a worthy successor
and a righteous descendant, that wish can be made easy and prepared through purity of conscience, sincerity of intention, and
submitting the petition before the court of the Most Generous of the generous and the Most Merciful of the merciful. And since
the essence of the purpose and the choicest part of the aim is the comfort of the weak, the tranquility of the subjects, the welfare of the people,
and the peace of mind and well-being of their state, by the perfection of divine grace the answering of this prayer and the granting of this
desire will not be unusual or extraordinary, even as His words, Exalted and Glorious is He, declare: 'Call upon Me; I will answer you.'"
When the shah heard these premises, he sent alms and gifts to the ascetics and worshippers,
fulfilled vows of charitable deeds and supererogatory devotions, and when the Chosroes of the stars,
like the Sīmurgh, hid behind Mount Qāf of the horizon, and glittering stars shone
upon the kohl-colored carpet of the sky, he entered a blessed place and consecrated spot,
performed the duties of prayers and conditions of devotions, and with the tongue of supplication and expression of humility explained the tale
of need, submitted the petition of his request to the pavilion of glory, and said: “O
Generous One, from the sanctuary of Whose generosity those bewildered in the wilderness of perplexity and those wandering lost in the desert of ruin seek favor and care;
the secrets of minds and contents of inner thoughts are not hidden from Him.
It is worthy of Your bounty to grant my request!” When the true dawn
shone forth from the rising place of the horizons, the banners of the sun appeared, and the flags of Mercury and Venus were eclipsed,
the shah retired in private with the veiled lady, and the execution of destiny agreed with the purity of deliberation;
