184.1

کأن نحوم اللیل خافت مغاره فمدت علیه من عجاجته حخخا مرد گفت : ای طوطی ، مگر بو دیوانه شذهآی ، یا دماغت خلل کرده است ؟ برمن چون روز روشن شذ کی تو باذ پیموذهآی ، وکوز پوذه شکستهٔ‌ی ، واگر والعیاذ بالله از اکاذیب کلمتی چند ترکیب کردئی ، وترهاتی چند تربیب داذئی ، میان من وحلال کار بطلاق وفراق انحامیذی ، ومصالح معاش)

As if the stars of the night feared its raid, / so it spread a veil of dust over it.
The man said: 'O parrot, have you perhaps gone mad, or has your brain suffered an impairment?
It has become as clear to me as day that you have been measuring the wind and crushing a hollow nut!
And if—God forbid!—you had concocted a few words of falsehood and arranged a few idle tales,
the affair between me and my lawful wife would have ended in divorce and separation, and the affairs of my livelihood
