چو وصل ومهر بو بوذ چه قدر دارذ عمر چو دوستی نو آمذ چه قدر دارذ مال (3/6) این حکایت از بهر آن گفتم ، تا رأی عالی شاه بر مکر وغدر زنان واقف شوذ ، وبر خاطر عاطر او کی مرجع داذ ودین است ، مقر گردذ2 کی حیلت ومکر زنان را غایت ونهایت نبست . شاه چون این داستان بشنیذ ، مثال داذ تا شاهزاذه را نحبس برند ، وسیاست را در تأخیر وبوقف نهند

When union and your love are present, what value has life?
When new love arrives, what value has wealth?
I have recounted this tale so that the exalted judgment of the shah may be apprised of the wile and treachery of women,
and that it may be established in his fragrant mind, which is the refuge of justice and religion,
that the guile and wiles of women have no limit or end. When the shah heard this story,
he commanded that they take the prince to prison, and defer and suspend the punishment.
