آمذن کنیزک روز سوم بحضرت شاه آمذن کنیزک روز سؤم بحضزت شاه (1/7) روز سؤم چون رایت لشکر روز از افق مشرق طلوع کرد ، وأعلام قیری لشکر شب در قیروان مغرب پنهان شذ ، کنیزک بحضرت شاه مراجعت بموذ؛ وبا چهرهٔ‌ معصفری ، وپشت از بار حوادث چنبری ، رخساره یر اشک حسرت ، وباطن بر از قلق وضجرت ، بنزدیک شاه آمذ ، ومنافق وار بزبان اضطرار تضرع وزاری بیش آورد :

On the third day, when the banner of the army of day arose from the eastern horizon,
and the pitch-black standards of the army of night were concealed in the Kairouan of the west, the slave-girl returned
to the shah's presence; and with a saffron-pale face, a back bent like a bow from the burden of misfortunes, cheeks
full of tears of regret, and an inner self full of agitation and distress, she came before the shah, and hypocritically,
with a tongue of helplessness, brought forward entreaty and lamentation:
