امروز بکام خویش دستی یزیم زان بدش کی دستها فروبندذ خاک تا مدتی برین حادته بگذشت ، وبازرگان از مطالعهٔ‌ ضیعت ومعامله وتحارت باز گشت ، ودر شهر بطرفی نا معهود فروذ آمذ ، واسباب طرب مهیا گردانیذ ، وبا خوذ گفت :

Today let us stretch forth a hand to our desire, / before the dust binds down our hands.
Some time passed in this manner, and the merchant returned from inspecting his estate, commerce,
and trading. He lodged in an unfamiliar quarter of the city, prepared the requisites of merrymaking,
