گرد آمذه بوذیم چو پروین یکچند آمن شذه از فراق وفارغ ز گزید مانا کی نبوذیم بوصلش خرسند کازذ چو بنات نعش مان بپرا گند یاران وپیوستگان را وداع کرد ، واز آنحا تحزیرهٔ‌ی رفت ، کی در وی امن ورفاهت ، وخصب وفراغت حاصل بوذ، خالی از مزاحمان ، وفارغ از قاصدان ؛ وورع وتقوی بیش گرفت ، وروی بمنزل غقبی نهاذ ، وفراغت 15

For a time we were gathered together like the Pleiades, / safe from parting and free from distress.
It seems that we were not grateful for union with it, / for time scattered us like the daughters of the Bier.
It bade farewell to friends and kin, and went from there to an island in which
security, ease, abundance, and leisure were attained, free of intruders, and unconcerned
with pursuers. It adopted piety and devoutness, turned its face toward the abode of the hereafter, and [found] peace.
