گشاذه است چون شمع همه تن زبان وچون شکوفه همه اعضا دهن شذه است ، وهر که چون سوسن ده زبان وچون لاله دوروی گشتست روز گارش بخنحر تیز چون بنفشه زبان از راه قفا بیرون کشیذهاست وچون لاله قباش از خون خنجر رنگین کردست ، وبزبان حال با روزگار گفته :

became all tongue in his whole body like a candle, and all mouth in every limb like a blossom;
and whoever became ten-tongued like the lily and two-faced like the tulip, Time
drew his tongue out from the back of his neck with a sharp dagger like the violet, and dyed his tunic with the blood of the dagger like the tulip,
