40. All the Mss. have द्विपर्वं, but it should be त्रिपर्वं, Compare पर्वद्वयमङ्गुष्ठः शेषाङ्गुलयस्त्रिभिस्त्रिभिः कार्याः (Bṛihat Saṁhitā, LVIII, 28), also पर्वदीर्घं तदेकांशं युगलानi त्रिपर्वंकम् (M. LXV, 136–137).
