The coping stones of this railing are of great artistic beauty decorated with a number of floral and animal designs, e.g. rows of bells (*gaṇṭāpaṅkti*) above and lotus creepers below. Amongst animals may be noticed, griffin, rhinoceros, fishfailed lion, tiger, bull and boar.
