Translation — When the shuddha gandhara retains its name "gandhara" unchanged it is always a "dwi-shrutic" or shuddha gandhara, as in the case of the Mukhari ragam यदा स एव जायेत ऋषभस्तु तदा पुनः। पंचश्रुतिरिति ज्ञेयः श्रीरागोऽत्र निदर्शनम्॥
