The shuddha swara stands as before on the last sruti. We know that all these facts were admitted by Lochana, Hrdaya, Ahobala, and Srinivasa too. But it must be remembered that the system adopted by Pundarik has never to be confounded with that of the other four Pandits. The shuddha scale of Pundarik being the Southern, his system will have to be studied independently. The swara names and some of the technical terms will differ from those of the northern system.
