Śrī Jinadatta Sūri, as various dates in his life indicate, was a contemporary of Siddharāja Jayasimha and Kumārapāla, and, as the panel was painted when he had risen to be an Āchārya, its date should fall between 1112 A.D., the year in which he became an Āchārya, and 1154 A.D., the year in which he died.
