The war ended with the Peace of Antalcidas, also known as the King's Peace, which was imposed by the Persian King Artaxerxes II. The treaty stipulated that the Greek cities of Ionia were to be under Persian control, while all other Greek cities were to be independent. This treaty effectively ended the war and restored Spartan hegemony in Greece.
