Dāmodara Miśra, follows the School of Hanumāna in his *Sangīta-darpaṇa*, which is a compilation rather than an original treatise. He cites descriptive verses for 36 melodies according to the system of Hanumāna. The *dhyāna* formulas are identical with those given in the *Nārada-Saṃhitā* and other texts.
