On the whole, it is worth to excavate the interiors of the citadel to understand, as far as possible, the complex of the palaces, mansions and temples of Rastrakuta period, though they are overlain much by the later periods. The two masjids jumma and Kālī with their usual domes as super-structure are typical of the Bahamani style.
