From the barbican, there is a flight of steps leading to the inner part of the citadel, through the gate-way VII, (Fig.51). The flight of steps is curved abutting the circular bastion i.e. Khaḍak Bijli Burj, which is opposite to the bastion, in front of the flight of steps to the gateway VI (Fig. 51).
