The Harappans used (Fig.92) spears, shaft-holed-axes bows, arrows,celts, swords etc. of bronzes sparingly. But as well-known from Kautilya that the Mauryan period was highly advanced in technology and Iron was profusely used. The weapons (Fig.93) are of varieties and far more effective.
