¹ Malkhēḍ is a small village in Chitāpur Tk., Gulbarga Dt. In the later inscriptions of the Rāshṭrakūṭas, Manyakhēṭa is described as their capital. And this is generally identified with Malkhēḍ. However, the identification is not free from doubt.
