¹⁰³ Pāpayakṣman, the curse of consumption, had been brought on Soma, the Moon, by Dakṣa. Its position, in the Vāstu, borders in the west on the realm of Soma. Śoṣaṇa and Rājayakṣman as aspects of Varuṇa, 'Jaiminīya Upaniṣad Brāhmaṇa', IV. 1. 7-8.
