The 10 armed image of Śiva, on Pl. LXII, is shown dancing after the total and simultaneous defeat of the Titans in heaven, on earth and in the mid-region. Śiva, the universal, all filling God holds high his bow—the Vedas; Viṣṇu is his arrow. To the right of Śiva, Gaṇeśa, his small son, takes part in the dance.
