6. *Śvetagaṅgā.* To the west of the Great Temple there is a small tank, quite dry when I saw it, and totally neglected; but it has the merit of ensuring immediate emancipation not only to the greatest sinners but even to worms. On its bank there are two small temples, one dedicated to Śveta Mādhava and the other to Matsya Mādhava, both forms of Viṣṇu; and these are noted for high miraculous powers. (Woodcut No. 21).
