In his line was born rājā Janamejaya, who was of moon-like fame, master of the world, incomparable, destroyer of his enemies, and the owner of Teliṅga; and who drew to himself the fortune (Lakṣmī) of the rājā of Uḍḍra who was killed by his Kunta (a weapon), while their antagonist's elephants were overcome with fatigue fighting with their tusks.
