*Kamaṇḍalu*. This is an ordinary vessel to hold water and is of different shapes. It has in some cases a spout. The earlier specimens are simple in design, though not very handsome in appearance. The later forms are more symmetrical and beautiful in design and workmanship (see Pl. IV, figs. 3, 4, 5 and 6).
