‘यद्यत्साधु न चित्रे स्यात्क्रियते तत्तदन्यथा । तथापि तस्या लावण्यरेखया किञ्चिद-न्वितम्, really meaning यद्यत्साधु न; चित्रे तत्तदन्यथा स्यात् क्रियते (स्यात् क्रियते in the sense of क्रियेत meaning that whatever is not beautiful can be made different in picture—Mahāmahopādhyāya Kuppuswāmi Sāstri's interpretation—cf.
