⁴ *Agamya*, literally ‘having come’, is another idiomatic expression peculiar to Buddhist Sanskrit. It is used to acknowledge indebtedness. *Cf. yā kāchid asmākam śrī-saubhāgya-sampat sarve’sau Buddham Bhagavantam āga-mya*—‘whatever fortune of wealth and prosperity we possess, all that we owe to the Lord Buddha!’ (*Divyāvadāna*, edited by E. B. Cowell and R. A. Neil, Cambridge, 1886, p. 95.)
