The inscription is comparatively well preserved. A little blank space between *yad-atra* and *puṇyaṃ* in line 1 is owing to a flaw in the stone itself. Palaeographically the two forms of *t*, one with its semicircle to the right of the vertical and the other with it to its left, are noteworthy, as in *bhadanta* and *yad-atra*, line 1.
