⁵ Neṭuñceḻiyaṉ, the victor of Talaiyālaṅkāṉam, also defeated Māntarañ Cēral Irumporai in battle (*Puṟa.* 17). As the latter is not among those celebrated in the decades of *Patiṟṟuppattu*, he belonged presumably to a later generation.
