Copper coins with the legend *pe ru vā ḷu ti* (Peruvaḻuti) discovered by Krishnamurthy confirm the historicity of another Early Pāṇṭiya king.⁶ The 'circular top' form of *ḻ* and the presence of the TB-I notation provide evidence to date this coin in the Early Period (ca. 2nd century B.C.).
