Cf. *veni* for *veṉi* (*veṇṇi*) (**70.2.a**); *veṟri* 'victory' (*Tivā.* 2139); *veṉṟi*, *veṟṟi* id. (*Piṅkala.* 1767; *Cūṭā.* 8:32).
