When we come to examine the forms of the pots divergence is more apparent than in ware or ornament. The scanty potsherds permit few complete restorations of the Amri vessels, but the tall globular beakers from, for instance, Lohri and Damb Buthi in Sind, taken in conjunction with numerous rim and shoulder fragments of the same type from all the Sind sites seem likely to be one characteristic form. Similar pots are suggested by sherds from Baluchistan, for instance at Zila and Hor-Kalat, associated with more specifically Nal forms, and, as will be seen, the ornament on these beakers also presents close parallels to Amri patterns.
