Another record says that he seized Mānyakhēṭa (or Malkhēḍ), the capital city of the Rāṣṭrakūṭas and after burning it, retired. This was during the reign of Rāṣṭrakūṭa Kṛṣṇa II and therefore after A.D. 877-78 (E. I. vii, 26). See below s.v. A.D. 930.
