³ *Ep. Ind.*, Vol. XXXII, p. 123, text line 35. We have also *Prāsādā yatra sauvarṇā°* and *tiṣṭhati dānadaḥ* (ibid., p. 70, text lines 20-21). *Ep. Carn.*, Vol. XII, Sl. No. 95 ascribes the authorship of the stanza to Bṛhaspati, while Hemādri (op. cit., p. 481) and Ballāla (op. cit., p. 316) assign it to the *Mahābhārata* (cf. XIII, 62) and the *Dina-Bṛhaspati* respectively.
