⁵ Ep. Ind., Vol. XXV, p. 218, verse 39. The Mahābhārata (XIII, 62, 46) has it with dīpyanti tejasā bhuvi in the first half and dadāti vasudhāṁ sphītāṁ ye veda-viduṣi dvije in the second. Ballāla’s Dānasāgara (op. cit., p. 332) seems to attribute the stanza to the Viṣṇudharmottara.
