Talavakāra, a pupil of Jaimini, re-edited his teacher's work, which then became known as the *Talavakāra Brāhmaṇa*. It may be noted that Talavakāra is included in the *Śaunakādi-gaṇa* (IV.3.106), as an author of a *Chhandas* work or Vedic *Śākhā*.
