(3) *Indra-sṛishṭam*; the organs were 'created or produced by Indra.' Yāska attributes this view to the teacher Āgrāyaṇa (*Idaṁ karaṇād iti Āgrāyaṇaḥ*, X.8), and a similar suggestion is made in the *Aittareya Up.* (II.¹, *Tā etā devatāḥ sṛishṭāḥ*).
