Ma'sum Khān Kābulī died on the 10th May 1599.² Qatlū Khān's son was defeated by Rājā Mān Singh at Sherpur Afai in the Murshidabad district of Bengal.³ Rājā Mān Singh returned to Court from Bengal and Orissa in 1605 and tendered 1,000 mohurs and 12,000 silver rupees as nazar. He also brought numerous elephants from the north-eastern provinces,⁴
