⁶⁴ Dr Bühler reads तत विज्ञानेनाथ and construes it as a vocative The vocative does not look natural here The Bombay lithographed edition and my manuscript have विज्ञाननाथ the nominative Instead of तत the former has तन्न and the latter सत्व I have adopted this last The author has here taken the name Vijñânesvara in its etymological sense and given to विज्ञान or "knowledge" the object तत्त्व or "truth," the whole meaning "the lord of the knowledge of truth "
