Of Kâkusthavarman, we have one grant, from Halsî, dated, without further details, in the eightieth victorious year, and issued from Palâsikâ. In it, he has the title of Yuvarâja; but no indication is given as to the name of the reigning king, who would be his father or elder brother. It records that, as a reward for saving himself, he granted a field, at a village named Khêtagrâma, to the Sênâpati or General Srutakîrti.
