"On this day the 15th Sudi of Vais'âkha, in the year Saṁvat 1288, in the Camp of Victory, [a treaty] between the paramount king of kings, the prosperous Siṁhaṇa and the Mahâmaṇḍales'vara Râṇaka, the prosperous Lâvaṇyaprasâda. Siṁhaṇa whose patrimony is paramount sovereignty, and the Mahâmaṇḍales'vara Râṇaka the prosperous Lâvaṇyaprasâda should according to former usage confine themselves, each to his own country; neither should invade the country of the other."
