v3.c29.98

The retirement of the enemy revived the strife of factions. Ikhlāṣ Khān attacked Dilāvar Khān, the leader of the moderate party among the Africans, in the citadel, but was deserted by all his officers and captured and blinded by his rival, who became supreme in the state. Shāh Abu-’l-Hasan was blinded and shortly afterwards put to death, and the Shiah religion was suppressed and persecuted.
