Finally Oba Raya told the Fathers that the King had determined to give them two villages, for their expenses and for the construction of the temple; and then a golden palankin, which is only permitted to the grandees and gurupis. Finally he allowed them to build as many temples as they wished throughout his dominions. Before their departure the King granted another audience to them; in which, at his request, they declared many of the tenets of the Christian faith, and were granted permission to build a church in Chandragiri itself.
