∗ The brother of Shapur Khan (Kamwar Khan, 230). Khafi Khan, 903, calls him of Chaghatai race. His family bore the epithet of Mir-i-shamsher, and he was commonly called Mir Haidar Beg. Mirza Haidar, governor of Kashmir and author of the Tarikh-i-Rashidi, is said to have been his great-grandfather.
