v2.c13.s6.16

Husain Ali Khan was for immediate action; he wished to go in person. On the other hand, Abdullah Khan and Samsam-ud-daulah (Khan Dauran) counselled delay; for, as the saying is, "Delay is of God; haste, of the Devil." Sayyid Dilawar Ali Khan and the officers with him, in one direction, and Alim Ali Khan, in the other, would suffice to retrieve everything. Even if Asir fort had been taken, there had been no time to place it in a state of defence and it could be easily recovered; "cleverness is a good thing, be you as strong as Rustam."
