The phrase سکان لکه بیگهه مزروع is not quite clear. It is clearly سکان لکه تنکه مزروع three lakhs of bighas of cultivated land. It is not one lākh, for سکان and سکان are differently written in the text and لکه is surely the mistake of the scribe for بیگهه (Bigha). From the context it is clear that for every three lākhs of bighas of land which the Shiqdārs promised to cultivate they received from the treasury an advance of fifty thousand.
