Diary, 9th Jan. 1693.] But in January 1693 he was thrown into the background by the arrival of Dhana and Santa, and so, in March, he left Rajaram, recovered Satgarh, and began to fight for his own hand. In extending his territory eastwards to Vellore, he came into conflict with Rajaram in June. [Z.
