Roll-moulding and *yāḷivari* in plinth and arrangement of the *kōṣṭhas* and *śālā* above cornice shows a combination of elements occurring in Mūvarkovil No. 1, and Nāgeśvara. Bulbous *śikhara* with a prominent *kūḍu* containing beautiful sculpture on each of the four sides is distinctive of this shrine but would recall the *śikhara* of Vijayālayacōḷēśvara.
