Hastivarman was succeeded by his son Nandivarman I (c. 375). His kingdom included the vishaya of Kudrahāra on both sides of the Krishna river. The part that lay to the south was subsequently conquered by the Pallavas who named it Vengirāshtra. Nandivarman I was followed on the throne by his son Hastivarman II; then came Skandavarman son of Hastivarman II; Skanda was followed by Chandavarman, the second son of Nandivarman I, and the latter by his son Nandivarman II (c. 430), the last known king of the line.
