Mūsika probably belonged to the upper valley of the river Musi, a tributary of the Kṛṣṇā while Nala Kālika (or Nala Ālūpa or Kalupa) occupied the basin of the lower Musi, i.e., the present Nalgonda district of Andhra Pradesh State.
